Job Description

As a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) you will be spearheading the marketing efforts on CONFLICT OF NATIONS: WORLD WAR 3 and future products. You will work closely with the production team to strengthen the marketing between product and marketing message, as well as collaborate with external publisher(s)/partners to support acquisition efforts on various platforms.

In this role, you’ll pioneer innovative marketing strategies, delving into new trends and thinking beyond conventional methods, with a focus on desktop platforms and an explorative effort outside of traditional performance marketing. Your role involves closely collaborating with the production team and external partners to align product messaging with cutting-edge marketing techniques.

Key responsibilities include crafting targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging social media, and engaging the community to enhance player acquisition, engagement, and retention. You’ll analyze market trends and player feedback, adapting strategies for maximum impact. Your creativity will drive the organization of events and promotions, ensuring alignment with our game’s branding. This role demands a blend of creative vision and analytical prowess, ensuring our marketing resonates with players while staying at the industry’s forefront.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to drive player acquisition, engagement, and monetization for our free-to-play (F2P) games.
  • Collaborate with the game development team to deeply understand game mechanics, updates, and features to craft compelling marketing narratives.
  • Manage cross-promotional marketing efforts, including coordinating with influencers, content creators, and partnership networks to maximize game visibility.
  • Oversee social media strategy, ensuring engaging and consistent communication across platforms to build and maintain a strong online community.
  • Analyze market trends and player feedback to identify opportunities for growth and recommend improvements to both game development and marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute live events, online tournaments, and community engagement activities to boost player retention and brand loyalty.
  • Lead the creation of marketing materials, including trailers, advertisements, and promotional graphics, aligning with the game’s branding and target audience.
  • Monitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to address community feedback and integrate player insights into marketing efforts.
  • Liaise with external agencies and vendors for specialized marketing services and collaborations.
  • Report on campaign performance and KPIs, providing insights and strategies for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in the video games industry, with a strong preference for experience in marketing F2P games.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, particularly in player acquisition and retention.
  • Deep understanding of the F2P gaming market, current trends, player behaviors, and monetization strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to inform marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content tailored to a gaming audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for developing innovative marketing ideas that resonate with gamers.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including analytics, ad management, and content scheduling.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion for gaming and a solid understanding of what drives gamers to engage with F2P titles.
