Dorado Games is a well-established video games studio in Malta, and part of Stillfront Group Sweden – a stock market listed organization consisting of over twenty international video game studios from around the world. The company’s focus is designing, developing and marketing online strategy games for all platforms: Our global strategy hit-game “Conflict of Nations: World War 3” is at the center of our endeavors and constantly being refined and expanded across iOS, Android and PC/Steam.

Job Description

As a Community Manager, you will be a pillar of the growing Community Team, interacting with and planning events in synergy with the Dorado team and ongoing strategies: growing and enhancing our community while acting as a direct line of communication between the player base, development team,
projects and releases.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for effective communications within the team
    and audience, across numerous social and internal
    channels.
  • Work on the player-reported tickets with a Customer Support
    mindset and Community Management understanding.
  • Identify and relay issues through our customer service platforms and social channels, collecting insights and frequent reports from new, or veteran players alike. Categorization is needed in the aim to inform decisions take and projection directives.
  • Collaborate on the planning, preparation, and executions of
    social campaigns; utilizing creative assets and written content
    to inform, educate, and create a dialogue with our community.
  • You will be an ambassador for the company and the games developed. You are required to have confidence in knowledge of the game/s, and to help share that knowledge with player communities across multiple channels.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • Experience with social platforms such as Discord, Reddit, Forums, or modern equivalents, and an expansive understanding of how to leverage the strengths of each.
  • The ability to work closely with teams and maintain relations
    with the audience.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. A strong
    command of English is very important.
  • A drive to be creative, communicative and willing to try new things keeping efforts directed towards the improvement of the community. Consistent and effective presence kept in mind.
  • Working knowledge of modern communication and office tools
    such as Slack and Microsoft office suite.
Desirable Skills
  • Any further foreign language skills such as Italian, Polish,
    Turkish, French, Spanish or German, both written and verbally.
  • Experience with game communities as clan leader or similar.
  • Experience playing Dorado Online Games’ creative products.
  • Experience with Social Media influencers.
  • Experience running content channels such as Youtube, Twitch
    or the like.
